Fran grew up in the telecom industry, working for the Roger’s group of companies for 16 years in various customer and marketing roles before accepting the opportunity to be part of a mobile start up in Prague, CZ. This led to various international assignments across the globe with Vodafone Group, where she had the opportunity to be part of another mobile start up in Qatar as Chief People Officer and Chief Operating Officer. After 12 years abroad, Fran decided to return home and discovered the exciting world of retail. First joining Sears as Vice-President, Human Resources and Centres of Excellence, then Indigo Books & Music as Vice-President, Human Resources and, finally, joining Loblaw in July of 2015, as Vice-President, Talent of Loblaw Companies Limited. In her role, she is responsible for the design, development and implementation of all strategies, programs and polices relating to culture and talent management for the enterprise. Fran enjoys bringing practical and simple talent solutions to the business to enable our leaders to achieve great results with our people and creating cultures where we people can thrive and do great work. Fran is currently pursuing her MBA from University of Liverpool.
