3:15 PM Fundamentals of High-Performance Teams: Novo Nordisk’s Successful Approach

The value of high-performing teams has long been recognized by managers and team members alike. It’s why the majority of investors think the quality of the management team is the single most important nonfinancial factor when evaluating an IPO. High-performing teams have been proven to have above-median financial performance when working together toward a common vision. Members of high-performing teams also report that it is satisfying to work on collaborative teams because they are asked to contribute at their highest potential and they learn a lot along the way.

As leaders, it’s our responsibility to help our team grow individually and teach them how to support each other as a whole, working towards a shared vision.
Join Ian Daley, Director of Leadership Development as he shares the fundamentals and application of high-performing teams:

•Developing solid trust in each other, in the team’s purpose and shared business goals
•Actively diffusing tension and friction in a relaxed atmosphere
•Unlocking the potential value of individual contributors by empowering them to contribute in a collaborative way
•Efficient decision-making: harnessing natural agreement — in the cases where agreement is elusive, a decision is made by the team lead or executive sponsor
